3 Foundations for Dry Skin
Today's hot topic: what types of foundations are ideal for dry skin?
In my previous blogs, Foundation Fundamentals and 3 Foundations for Oily Skin, I discussed foundation and which ones specifically do wonders for oily-skinned ladies. However, dry skin is an issue as well, so let's get started on the my favorite products for that;
1. Mineralize Moisture SPF 15 from MAC. It provides medium coverage - I love it because it moisturizes the complexion on the spot, it also masks redness and gives you a natural, radiant glow.
2. YSL's Teint Touche Eclat foundation is also a good choice. I always opt for medium coverage. It moisturizes with perfection and can last up to nine hours - given that you occasionally pat your complexion with a napkin. It's a bit heavy, so I recommend you apply compact or loose powder over it to make sure it sets in.
3. Lumi Magique from L'Oreal is another great product for the issue at hand. It provides great coverage for the first four hours, but can gradually start fading after - it's a lightweight so it does not feel like you have anything on.
If you feel like a foundation that works great with all types of skin, I recommend Maestro Fusion Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15 by Giorgio Armani. It's light, it's gentle on your complexion, and gives you natural coverage and it's moisturizing. Price may be a little too steep for some of my readers, though.
Ladies, I end this foundation trilogy with the reminder: there are tons of foundations coming out every day! Keep yourself updated and regularly follow up with my blog for a constant lookout on what's new and what's good.
Which of the above products have you tried?
